Ana Maria leads the Vancouver studio of Diamond Schmitt and has over 20 years experience with the firm. Her work is focused on western Canada, including institutional, health care facilities, performing arts, residential, commercial, restoration and academic projects.
She received her Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia. She completed the fine arts program at University of British Columbia and the Architecture Program at Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru.
Recently, Ana Maria was the recipient of the Business in Vancouver 2020 Influential Women in Business Award. She is currently serving as a member of the City of Surrey Advisory Design Panel.
